Prodigy was an interesting map choice by mortis, and certainly a large advantage in them also picking their starting side. Prodigy featuring only 2 choke points gave an advantage to the defending side, even more so then cbble.
Starting as T the pistol was crucial, coming down to a 1 on 1 jinx cleverly outsmarted his opponent, planting beneath ladder in science labs then swindling up ladder to frag as mortis attempted to defuse. Splitting, or rather lack of real calling worked well for us, using our sharper aim to pick players at either site. Eventually a lack of concentration saw us committing to one site only, and after a number of round losses back to back we realized that we had to split, to prevent mortis rotating to cover the already tiny choke points. A return to this 'strategy' saw us close off the half 8-7.
Playing a much more typical CT half it went as planned, quickly racing to 6 rounds to nil, as we took the first and usually second kill of every round. A mix up allowed mortis to win one round back, although we did well to close off the match right then, 8-1. (16-8)
After the match the admistration decided a full match forfeit was warranted as Oks' octinium demo was running net_graph 3, rather then 1. The team has since retired and left the ladder.
