Brett strikes from MIR ? Looks like i'm writing it this month. The overwhelming support the MIR receives each month hasn't found it's way to old Brett, so he's ceased to write it until the groupie count rebuilds. He seems to have posted a sarcastic MIR to spite us, so i've quickly written down everyting i could remember so that there's something. We all thought it was just an April fools joke as he did announce it early April 1st, so we bantered for a while until he started crying and left (sorry brett<3). Unfortuantly for you i usually specialize in 'fawad-sledging'. Which is probably the only worthwhile contribution i have to this website. This brings me to my first point, Fawad married early in the month to his new bride, most of xl attended and it was a lovely service. An interesting fact is that it was the very first legal gay marriage in Melbourne, congratulations fawad !. Here's a shot we captured on the day ;)

Possibly the scariest thing to ever happen to an xl member occured on the 7th at 11:00, Benjamin 'Cute' Fyfe aka Method was involved in a horrific car accident involving 4 other cars, a semi-trailer and tolks penis. All parties were badly damaged, Meth hopped out of his car and jarred his wrist as he was beating the dumb bitch who caused the accident on the pavement. Even more unfortuante was tolks already bent penis was given another kink, and now 'stands' in a very 'S' like shape.

Shortly after a CZ war my (atomics) pc blew up, adding to the growing frustration of resident team asian ragnarokEX, who so keenly wanted to scrim every moment of the day. After 2 arduous weeks of waiting, my pc returned only to have gRim off banging a new girlfriend and headshot returning to his prolific drinking problem. In complete desperation a new member was recruited to the 1.6 team, an aquantance from atomics dark past as a dialup random, doug. Doug assured us he'd be good "it's okay guys im a national lanner", but since joining he's really struggled to put any frags on the board. It's unlikely he'll be with us very long until we can find someone thats forehead doesn't fill Sydney Harbour.

Due to various legal challenges the website has had to take various measures to ensure we could stay in business. After a few accidental amsg's and spoilers posted by some of the higher bandwidth members of the xl team, of the more popular TV shows, a legal disclaimer has been added to the website. Near the bottom of the contact box is a legal disclaimer, and it is a requirement for you to sign on the line before idling, if the line is unsigned then you join the channel at your own risk. You have been warned.

After a few rough wars in CZ, the team has refocused our efforts on the CZ World Championship as we fight to win back-to-back titles. Method purchased a GunGames server specifically so that xl could train in the most beneficial environment. The GunGames server actually became so popular a competing network(Gamespace) actually offered to pay our host $10 to take it down. Unfortuantly they didn't consider the server was costing us more per month then $10 and the offer was swiftly declined. My advice would be to gamespace to sponsor xl through increasing our individual player salarys per week, and we may consider their $10 offer. lol ... $10.

Yes, we all felt terribly ashamed too. Competing with Brett(ohhh brett .. come back to me) there was a long discussion about what type of skyline he would be purchasing the following day, only to reveal the next day he had actually bought a VW Golf. I can certainly understand that, with all the performance benefits and the enormous prestige associated with owning a VW Golf.

In probably the most exciting news this month, and after incredible demand from the xl community an irc quote has had to be added. It seems that resident console/porn/cute idler 'TolkaNo' has found love.
