Very rarely in the very lengthy history of xl have we struggled to find players. Usually being a strong competitor in online competitions allowed us to have more recruitment options then we needed. Whether it be we became lazy or we just preferred smaller teams a large majority of our old players have now moved on with other things. Being an inactive team now since before the start of this year has only led to more inactivity, if we want members we need to play in the competitions and advertise ourselves, but if we have no members how do we play in the comps ?

Further difficulty was finding players of a standard we deemed 'good', but also nice people who weren't super competitive. This post is an SOS, as hopefully we will find at least single person who wishes to join up that we would like to have. I can imagine the xl community is a little bit daunting, there are more inside jokes then I can count, and friendships that now span over many years .. a difficult situation for a newcomer to break into. Remember that all of the current members started in the same position and it really isn't a big deal. So I have decided to write up as comprehensive criteria as possible, and if you're interested you can PM myself or rag and we'll have a chat about joining a clan and a second family ;) Theres a few spots 'open' i would say with no specific minimum or maximum

Current members include (active): Atomic, ragnarokEX, rizE, reaxion
(Inactive): JinX, gRim, rumeboy

-> CS is a computer game, have fun
-> Be a good, smart team player
-> Experienced, you've won things, been part of good teams, playing a long time, etc.
-> Mature, you can be immature but only if you're doing it intentionally ;)
-> Be yourself, you don't need to act like rizE ('rof') because he does it.
-> You can deal with losing, everyone loses sometimes its how you deal with it thats important
-> Free most midweek nights
-> Respect playing online, we don't cheat or code, you take it seriously enough so everyone can have a good time in the server
-> If you would like a stable team, we count membership in years not days
-> You cannot be involved in hundreds of other 'clubs' and teams that would take precedence over playing with us
-> Don't be arrogant and rude, it doesn't matter how good you think you are, theres always someone better
-> You need not apply if you have ever cheated or coded, or have a reputation for doing so
-> We could do with an awesome Spy for our TF2 team !

Thats about it i think, we aren't looking for the worlds best players, we've always made up for our lack of aim with good team work and smart play ;)
