It's been a while. Our webhoster went unexpectantly broke, and we lost all of our sql tables. After many broken promises and shed tears it took the courageous pair of WepSpecial and Oksey to step up the plate and get it all back together. Much has happened in the last few months, so just incase you've missed it i'll try and get it all down here !

The source team was a promising pickup, but were soon lured by the competitive 1.6 scene. After playing more 1.6 then source their gotgames ranking started to slip, and it took the young rascal dodge to apply his new 1.6 banter skill to a gotgames admin to recieve a ban. With not enough members to continue to compete the team disbanded, rizE quickly jumping ship to 3p-gaming, where he snapped that team up for his new multigaming syndicate immineNt(dud) gaming.

The 1.6 team had a very successful start to the year, taking out most online comps entered and always improving. As with a team that has members the age of ours, real life commitments began to stack up and practice, or playing at all began to become a chore. Discussions between myself and gRim as to who we should recruit went no where, and the decision to take a temporary leave was taken. With a few members leaving for #destinatus, and gRim leaving for a team named after a laxative. Expect to see a new xl 1.6 team appear sometime in 07.

The condition-zero team was the most recent team to form, and also disband. After marching our way up the OGN ladder, led abley by xl oldschooler method we took out both fM and mortis to snatch the #1 spot. Receiving a disqualification when one members octinium displayed net_graph 3, rather then 1, we quickly removed the team from the ladder. Such an incredibly harsh decision removed any sort of enthusiasm we had for the comp, but we are comforted in that there was little more we could achieve.

Much to our managers surprise the website will be here for him to post his month in reviews, which he has continued to compile throughout the downtime. Important events such as tolk leaving the #xl channel in order to talk to himself in a channel I won't mention, are appropriately catalogued in the annals of xl MIR history.

Expect for the site to make a full recovery with interesting articles and humour pieces to follow when i get some time. Until then, ._.
